Welcome to our home! Step inside and enjoy a little look at the work we have done so far!
I will continue updating as we make headway on more rooms throughout the house. Everything is very much a work in progress. While some rooms have come a long way, I am far from feeling like anything is complete! We moved into our little updated 1959 ranch on March 22, 2013, and we have been DIY-ing, decorating and renovating ever since! Click the links below the photos for more information on specific projects in each room.
For a look at the entire house “before,” check out this move-in day house tour.
Living Room
BEFORE
AFTER
This room started with a coat of paint in Revere Pewter. This color is gray in the daylight and sometimes more of a taupe color in the room lighting at night. It morphs and changes and blends with everything. This room is probably the most “put together” so far in our home, but it has also been one of the least expensive because of the thrifty furniture finds and fun DIY projects we have done. I think we have spent less than $300 on furniture in this room…TOTAL! Be sure to check out the links below for more details!

Our new Master Bedroom used to be our garage space…but I haven’t done a full room reveal there yet! Stay tuned!
Outside
Not much has changed on the outside of the house…except the weeds have grown up a little bit more in the flower beds because I haven’t quite learned how to tame them yet. But here is what our house looks like from the street!
Backyard
I am currently overhauling our home office and slowly updating the master bedroom. More rooms will be added to the tour soon!

Wow! You have done a ton! Great job. We did similar transformations on a 1950s home. So rewarding! I love what you did with the Kitchen and master!
I can not beleive I’m the only comment. Really surprised, because your blog is fantastic!
